Terms of use

Effective September 8, 2026. These terms govern ChessReign, provided by Nyza Creations LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. Contact [email protected] for help.

Your account

You must be at least 13, or meet any higher applicable age requirement, to create an account. If you are under the age of legal majority, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. Keep your credentials private, provide accurate account information and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Play fairly

Use your own judgment during games with other people. Engines, outside assistance, rating manipulation, harassment, impersonation and attempts to disrupt the service are prohibited. Read our Fair Play Policy. We may investigate reports, restrict abusive accounts and correct affected ratings. You can appeal a decision through support.

Free play and Plus

Human multiplayer is free. The free plan also provides computer and local practice, beginner lessons, five daily puzzles and one daily full game review. ChessReign Plus includes unlimited puzzles and 20 daily full game reviews. Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC. Reviews support up to 360 half-moves. During the web beta, Plus training is included without payment; we will present a clear purchase choice before any paid membership begins.

Subscriptions and renewal

When paid checkout is available, Plus costs $5.99 USD per month or $39.99 USD per year on the web, before applicable taxes. Store purchases use the localized price and terms shown by Apple or Google. A subscription renews automatically for the same billing interval until canceled. You authorize the selected payment provider to charge the displayed price at purchase and renewal. We notify you of changes where required by law or store rules.

Cancel a web subscription from Manage membership. Manage store subscriptions through the Apple or Google account used to purchase. Cancellation stops future renewal and ordinarily preserves access through the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Deleting your ChessReign account cancels web subscriptions; Apple and Google subscriptions must also be canceled in the store. Refund requests are handled by the provider that collected payment and applicable law; these terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

The service and your content

You retain rights to content you submit and give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to operate ChessReign, including showing moves and display names to opponents. ChessReign’s original design and software belong to Nyza Creations LLC or their respective licensors. Open-source components retain their own license terms; see Credits.

Availability and analysis

Online clocks continue when your connection drops or you leave the page. Reconnect promptly to continue a game. Engine analysis is an estimate and may change with search depth. We work to maintain service availability, but interruptions and errors may occur. The beta may change as we resolve issues and improve the product.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security concerns or legal requirements. We will explain relevant decisions where appropriate and provide a support route for questions or appeals.

Responsibility and governing law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. These terms are governed by applicable United States law, subject to mandatory protections and rights in your place of residence. Contact us first to try to resolve a concern.

Apple app terms

The Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies to the iOS application. Apple is not responsible for ChessReign support, maintenance or content. Store distribution remains subject to Apple’s terms.
